Roadmap & Future Plans
Superheat’s roadmap is designed to balance near-term execution with long-term platform growth. Our focus is to first prove safety, performance, and user value at scale, then expand into broader thermal applications and networked systems.
Phase 1: Product Launch & Initial Scale (Jan - Dec 2026)
-
January — CES World Premiere
Global debut of Superheat H1, introducing compute-powered heating as a new category of home energy infrastructure.
-
March — Early Shipments Begin
First production units reach early customers, validating real-world performance, reliability, and user experience.
-
Q3 — Strategic Partnerships & Commercial Expansion
Expansion into multi-unit residential and commercial environments through partnerships with property operators, installers, and energy stakeholders.
-
Q4 — Global Rollout & Ecosystem Growth
Broader geographic availability, deeper platform integrations, and continued growth of the Superheat user base.
This phase establishes Superheat as a safe, reliable, and economically compelling heating solution.
Phase 2: Product Line Expansion
With the Superheat H1 foundation in place, the platform expands beyond water heating into additional thermal applications:
- space heating
- radiant and hydronic systems
- pools and other high-duty thermal loads
All products share the same core compute-powered thermal architecture, firmware, and cloud platform, enabling rapid iteration and consistent performance across use cases.
Phase 3: Networked & Distributed Thermal Infrastructure
As deployments scale, Superheat evolves from individual appliances into coordinated systems and, eventually, networked thermal infrastructure:
- multi-device orchestration at the building level
- centralized control for apartments, hotels, gyms, and campuses
- integration with renewable-heavy grids
- clusters of buildings operating as shared thermal systems
This phase represents the transition from products to platforms, and from standalone heating appliances to distributed thermal energy networks.
Phase 4: Platform & Ecosystem Maturity
At full maturity, Superheat becomes an extensible platform:
- installer and service ecosystems
- enterprise dashboards and APIs
- integrations with broader energy and building-management systems
This stage lays the groundwork for continued innovation across heating, energy efficiency, and compute-powered infrastructure.
