Preferences

Two settings control how numbers are displayed throughout the app. Open the Setting tab, tap More Settings, and look under Preferences.

Tapping either row opens a short list. Tap a choice and it saves right away, with a checkmark against the option you picked.

Both settings belong to your account rather than to your phone, so they follow you to any phone you sign in on. Your region decided the starting values the first time you signed in — see Profile.

Temperature​

Choose °C and the heater's current temperature is shown in Celsius, and the two target choices read 50 and 60. Choose °F and the same two targets read 122 and 140.

The heater always works in Celsius. The unit here is display only, so switching between °C and °F changes what you read, never how hot your water gets. See Temperature.

Currency​

Choose USD, EUR or CAD. Amounts are shown with the matching symbol: $ for USD, € for EUR, CA$ for CAD.

Your currency applies everywhere a cash figure appears. The Wallet tab prints Bitcoin and cash side by side on the Balance and Lifetime Earnings cards. Balance Overview and Earnings instead carry a BTC and currency toggle in the header, and flipping it converts every number on the screen, payout history and mining reward history included.

Currency here is a display conversion at the current exchange rate. Your balance is held in Bitcoin and your payouts are sent in Bitcoin no matter which currency you pick. See Your balance.
