Device details

The About page holds everything identifying about one heater. Open the Home tab, choose the heater you want at the top of the screen, then tap the three dots at the top right.

The five rows

RowEditableWhat it shows
NameYesThe name you gave this heater. Shown as two dashes if you have not named it.
Firmware VersionNoThe version running on the unit, with a New pill when an update is available. Tap to open Firmware.
ModelNoSuperheat H1.
Serial NumberNoThe serial printed on the unit.
WarrantyNoThe expiry date, as Expires M/D/YYYY.

The first four sit together in one card. Warranty has a card of its own underneath.

Renaming your heater

The name is how you tell your heaters apart everywhere else in the app — at the top of the Home tab, and in the device list you open by tapping that name.

  1. Tap the Name row.
  2. Type the new name. Up to 40 characters.
  3. Tap the orange check button at the top right.

The check button stays gray until you change something. The app confirms with Device name updated.

Names like Basement, Rental unit or Garage work better than model numbers, especially if you own more than one heater. If you have not set a name, the Home tab shows a short code drawn from the unit's identifier instead.

Serial number

The serial number identifies your exact unit. It is on the label on the heater, on the QR code you scanned during setup, and on this page. It looks like SH-H1OXXAAA-2512-0001.

Have it ready whenever you contact support. You cannot change it, and you cannot move a serial to a different account yourself. If you try to pair a heater that belongs to someone else's account, setup stops with This device is registered to another account. — contact support in that case. See Pair your heater.

Warranty

The Warranty row shows when coverage ends: two years from the date your heater was activated on your account. It is a read-only date and it does not change if you rename the unit or move it.

warning

Opening the unit beyond the coolant access panel, or running it outside its documented conditions, may affect your coverage. For anything more involved than a coolant top-up, contact support before you start.
